I knew what I was getting into. I knew that captain america would fight with iron man. I just didn't know the reason well. Initially the movie made some song and dance about signing a document. The avengers group breaks into two factions. For some reason, lot of them support captain america. Perhaps they don't like iron man. Could it be his ego? Black widow makes such a claim late in the movie.
The plot is wafer thin. Captain america wants to save his friend bucky barnes also known as winter soldier. He goes to great lengths for it, even getting to fight with other avengers. The fight sequence is well filmed. I don't like the character of scarlet witch or the vision character but I did love spider man and his antics.
Then comes the twist and the climax. Iron man learns that winter soldier killed his parents. Captain America knew about it but to protect winter soldier he kept it a secret. Iron man naturally gets very angry and goes after winter soldier. Captain America begins to fight with him to protect a criminal. No where he mentions that winter soldier will be tried for his crimes and that he would bring him to justice. he was totally in the wrong but because it was his movie the director made iron man lose. captain america walks away with winter soldier and also the respect of that moron king, black panther.
This is where I got really angry. The movie just simply didn't make any sense. What is the point of trying to protect winter soldier? Why are the avengers so moronic that they can't figure out the truth? Black widow betrays iron man and his gang and all that he did was to reproach her mildly when she accuses him of egoism. And the falcon guy? The less said the better. At least they were put in jail, but in the end captain america rescues them and iron man doesn't do anything.
I came back home angry and embittered. I can't wait to see the movie where captain america is murdered. I hate that character. I would also love to see scarlet witch and falcon die. The more brutal their deaths are, the better it will be. And now I am done with the rant.
