bleach season 16

I finally caught up with Bleach. I watched the last 15 episodes of season 16. my son assured me that i don't need to know more save that Ichigo is a substitute soul reaper who has lost his power. I get introduced to all the characters like Kugo and his team who are all fighting the evil Tsukishima who has the strangest power to insert his own memory into past memories of people he hurts with his sword. He was tall, handsome and evil to the core. For some reason he starts attacking Ichigo and soon alienates his friends. It is a very interesting story and the action builds up to the point where the mandatory twist is introduced. It is Kugo who had been playing around with Ichigo. Kugo and Tsukishima had made Ichigo a fool. They coerced him into getting his power which they then proceed to steal. In the end, members of soul society have to help Ichigo to fight off the monsters. Tsukishima fights the only way he knows how to. He cheats, he lies, he tries to force his enemy to make mistakes and almost kills his opponent. However his opponent soon learns that to defeat Tsukishima, he has to fight in an unorthodox manner too. So he has to use treachery to beat Tsukishima. One almost fatal blow brings Tsukishima to his knees. Now coughing blood Tsukishima starts ranting, blaming his opponent for using treachery and trying to give him a guilt trip. The soul society member laughs and goes away. Is Tsukishima done? No way! He waits for the fight between Kugo and Ichigo to be over. He then watches in despair as Ichigo kills Kugo. So does he give up? No! He goes for one more kill. He tries attacking Rukia from behind and almost succeeds in that too.

I have truly found the villain that I always wanted to create. A sly, crafty villain who uses all his tricks to break his opponent. He uses artificial memories to make Ichigo's friends and family to turn against him, leaving him vulnerable. He fights in a crafty manner, trying to attack from behind as much as he could. When defeated, he wouldn't accept it gracefully. He has to rant, he has to abuse and he has to try stabbing someone in the back once more. Awesome! I am mesmerized. Thanks to Kush, I was able to watch a truly wonderful character brought alive.
